Directors are responsible for making sure all employees have assignments that match their skills, ability and training. When giving job assignments, leaders must be aware of all characteristics needed to be successful. This informative training will dig deeper than the job description in what skills are needed for each role in the program.

During this training, successful participants will:
• Learn new Texas employment laws and practice human resource skills to meet Texas Workforce Commission expectations.
• Learn to see the "floater" position in a different way so that the appropriate person will be placed in this assignment.
• Look outside the box when selecting individuals for particular job assignments.
